Repeat of Letterman's San Francisco Show (January 29, 2000) With David Letterman recuperating from open heart surgery, CBS is repeating some classic shows Letterman did in the past. Among them were Dave's week long stay in San Francisco five years ago. That was when NASH BRIDGES premiered, and of course, Don Johnson was among the guests. The Don Johnson appearance was re-run on Monday, January 24th. As we reported then, a hilarious clip was dug out from Don's past, as a guest on THE STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO. Don played a character labeled as a "Hotdog" and the clip was edited down to repeat "Hotdog" as much as possible. And since it was the last day of Dave's San Francisco stay, Dave and Don carried a sofa from the studio set and gave it away to an audience member. Such are the fond memories of the first season of NASH BRIDGES...

We Hear From Our Most Loyal Reader (January 29, 2000)
Gordon's Response Yes, Nash's black book has really dried up, hasn't it? And this highly unlikely scenario in the "Liar's Poker" episode doesn't do much for Don's reputation as a Romeo. But he is now a MARRIED Romeo in real life, and an attached Romeo in NASH BRIDGES. Good to hear from you, Joy...

Don's Home in LA Sold (January 9, 2000) Don's Beverly Hills home in LA has been on the market for some time now, and it's finally been sold for close to the 2.85 million asking price, the LA Times are reporting. With his roots now in San Francisco, this is the last vestige of Don's past and memories of his previous marriage. Don owned the Beverly Hills home for about 10 years, sharing the home with then wife Melanie Griffith. He's a San Francisco person now, living in the Pacific Heights area with new wife Kelley and new baby Gracie.

Fan Backlash on Caitlin Continues (January 9, 2000)
Gordon's Response Fan reaction to Caitlin has generally been lukewarm. It's just hard to believe Yasmine Bleeth as a cop, but no more than it is to believe Arsenio Hall as a cop on MARTIAL LAW. Wuf, wuf.
