Episode 105       Airdate: 11/03/00      Writers: Larry Barber and Paul Barber     Director: Don Kurt
Guest Stars: Mariette Hartley, Castulo Guerra, Edie McClurg, Kieran Mulroney, Tamlyn Tomita, and Brian Bosworth.

Joe:Well, you moved upstairs now and you're the Captain, right? And, ah, for all intensive purposes, I have your old job, right? Except that you haven't let go of the reigns. I mean, whenever something comes up, you always give the orders, you always ask the questions. And I don't get to do that.
Nash:You know what? You're right. That's true, I can do better. Pardon me for my control issues. And you absolutely should be doing more, so consider it done.

In the 'Cuda, Nash is suspicious of the car in front of him. He has Harvey run the plates while Joe goes for a bathroom stop. Nash observes two men, one white, the other black, meet another man and exchange papers. The plate check comes back as a stolen car. While waiting for Joe, another call for a silent 211 alarm comes in. Nash and Joe answer the 211, driving into a warehouse. The same two men are waiting in a truck and chase the 'Cuda out, while firing an assault rifle at the 'Cuda. Another truck blocks the two men from continuing the chase, as the 'Cuda returns to the warehouse. The warehouse is a DEA Lockup, and three guards are dead.

Three hundred kilos of seized cocaine were taken, evidence in the Ramos Catera drug trial. A fourth guard, Dennis Sikorsky, abruptly quit last week. A rental truck was used to carry out the cocaine. Harvey and Antwon find the truck, and Antwon confront the two men in a mini-market. Antwon knows one of them as his former Marine sergeant Bobby Usher from the Gulf War. Bobby struggles with Antwon and throws Antwon through a plate glass window. Both Bobby and his partner get away. Meanwhile Rachel and Cassidy locate Dennis Sikorsky and take him in. During interrogation, Dennis reveals that he was paid 10 grand by Enrique Sanduval to give a gate opener and plans to the DEA warehouse to Bobby and his partner.

Harvey and Antwon are again on Bobby and his partner's trail. They spot the two men in a school bus parking yard. Harvey chases the partner, while Antwon chases Bobby. During a shoot-out, the partner is run over by a truck. Antwon has the drop on Bobby, but just as he is about to arrest Bobby, Antwon has an epileptic seizure. Bobby gets away.

Antwon recovers and re-assures Harvey and Nash that he missed taking his epilepsy medicine because his pharmacy failed to get the correct medicine. Usher's dead partner is identified as Willie Rushton - both Usher and Rushton were former mercenaries working in Columbia.

Rachel and Cassidy stake out Enrique Sanduval's home. Sanduval shows up, but he is intercepted by Usher (in disguise as a homeless person). Cassidy arrests Sanduval, while Rachel is taken hostage by Usher, but Usher manages to get away. During interrogation, Sanduval reveals that he hired Usher and Rushton to steal the DEA confiscated cocaine. But the cocaine belongs to Ramas Catera. Nash and Joe threaten to call Catera and inform Catera that Sanduval has stolen his cocaine and intends to sell it in Miami. Sanduval is forced to reveal the pier number at which Usher will show up with the cocaine. As Usher shows up at Pier 73, Nash and the SIU are waiting. Usher is arrested without incident.

Joe's new architect quits, but an interested neighbor (Amy) next door to Joe's house happens to be an architect, and she offers to work for free. Nick sets up a double date for Nash and himself with a mother (Libby) and her daughter (Andrea). But Nash senses something amiss, as Andrea used to be a man. But Nick gets lucky as Libby spends the night.
