Episode 27       Airdate: 2/21/97      Writer: Jed Seidel     Director: Scott Brazil
Guest Stars: Thomas Wilson Brown, Boti Ann Bliss, Carlos Leon, Max Martini. Special Guest Stars: Glenn Frey.

Joe: You know I wonder if Inger and I are going to have a little boy or a little girl....with a little boy, you can, you know, kinda initiate him into the club...with a little girl, I think you're gonna spend most of your time kind of protecting them from the club, you know?
Nash: Whoa, Bubba, you're not wrong there....You will have absolutely no problem if you get a little girl. Life as you know it will be changed forever. But, believe me, it's as sweet as hell, brother.

Nash and Joe answer a silent alarm to a grocery store hold-up. The gunman takes a girl cashier hostage and they escape with the 'Cuda in hot pursuit. The 'Cuda looses the getaway car when it's blocked by a bus. The bus holds a further surprise for Nash when he sees a nude safe sex poster of Cassidy and her boyfriend plastered on the side of the bus.

The hostage's father is Phil Robbins, vice cop and former partner of Nash. Phil asks Nash to personally take charge of the case to get his daughter Lorraine back. The gunman is identified as James Ford, former Gulf War veteran and just out of prison for a three year stint for armed robbery. A search of James' booby trapped apartment reveals that James and Lorraine are a couple. Meanwhile, James and Lorraine steal a brand new Mercedes on their way to visit a video store. Getting information from Lorraine's little sister Amanda, Phil has beaten Nash to the punch in a search of the couple's motel room.

Lisa and Nash are both upset that Cassidy has not consulted with her parents on posing nude. Further, Lisa has found condoms in a search of Cassidy's bedroom.

James goes to see Larry Fortela, owner of a video store. James is about to set fire to the store to collect on money owed to James. Larry and his brother Carl, along with James, committed an armed robbery heist getting away with $400,000. After three years in jail, James is out to get his share of $100,000, but is forced to kill Larry, but not before Larry reveals that his brother Carl is the owner of a roving night club called Club Ecstasy. As they escape the video store, Phil is waiting in the back, as Nash and Joe also arrive. As Lorraine drives the Mercedes and as James machineguns his way out, Phil is afraid to shoot at his own daughter. The couple escapes.

During a stop at a gas station, a frightened Lorraine phones Nash at the SIU saying she wants to turn herself in. James shoots the gas station attendant. James and Lorraine bust into the Club Ecstacy, and Nash and company intercede. Nash allows Phil to come along. Carl eludes James' gunpoint, but is caught by Nash. In a shoot-out, both Nash and Phil are forced to shoot James dead. Lorraine is arrested as a bus passes by with Nash staring at it. Nash decides he's made a mistake being upset with Cassidy, and instead praises Cassidy for her safe sex poster.
