In a dangerous undercover buy involving two Russian gangsters who have stolen heavy machinery, Harvey Leek is carrying $500,000 in cash. Before Harvey can complete the buy, he is kidnapped by an Elvis impersonator.

Nash and Joe attempt to locate the missing Harvey. In the meantime, the Russian brothers Borris and Max continue in their attempt to sell their stolen merchandise, this time to a Japanese gangster named Toshiki Endo. Lieutenant Shimamura and company intercept Toshiki, and take over his role as Yakuza gangster.

Harvey has been kidnapped by his brother-in-law Aaron Crow, an Elvis impersonator. Aaron has learned of the $500,000 buy money through Harvey's wife Bonnie. Bonnie got drunk and told her worries about Harvey's dangerous undercover job to her sister.

Harvey manages to sneak a phone call to Nash's apartment, but Nash's father with Alzheimer's answers. Nick has trouble recalling, but Nick does after Nash and Joe trace down leads to Aaron through a Chinese laundry and a stripper who works in the same club as Aaron. Nash and Joe free Harvey chained to a pole in a basement.

Lieutenant Shimamura and Evan play Yakuza representatives to the hard drinking and hard partying Russian brothers. The deal goes bust when the real Toshiki Endo tips off the Russians. The freed Harvey completes the deal and busts the Russian brothers.

Nick gets arrested for aggravated sexual assault, but Nash gets Nick out. The old man is falsely accused because he broke his paramour's hip during intercourse. Nick decides to marry Charlotte and announces his engagement.

Joe has concocted a scheme to double his and wife Inger's life savings of $55,000 by buying and then instantly selling a seized property. But Joe ends up with the unwanted property, a bar, when his business partner dies of a heart attack without telling him who the other buyer is.
