1.0 Final Release Released June 18, 2000

CopyFaster requires Windows 2000 and does not work with Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0.

2. Uncompress the downloaded CPYF.ZIP Zip file. If you do not have a program to uncompress Zip files, visit WinZip.com.

3. Double-click the file called COPYFAST.MSI to install CopyFaster.

1.0 Final Release (June 18, 2000)

• Beta testing completed. Version 1.0 is a non-beta final release.

1.0 Beta 2 (May 31, 2000)

• CopyFaster now uses more of available memory for even faster copying than previous versions.

• Added special same-disk detection to make high performance disk access patterns occur more consistently. This fixes an issue where CopyFaster would once in a while be as slow as Windows 2000 without CopyFaster.

• When copying a big file and pressing Cancel, copying is cancelled much faster without any long pause or extra hard drive activity.

• Progress updating occurs more often, which makes the Time Remaining more realistic.

• Fixed some minor User Interface annoyances.
